IE8 Problems Show Case and Orbit Slider

JS Slide Show Ver 1.6.0.1070

Orbit Slider - the bottom Title bar starts about 1/2 way on image and does not display all characters.
See: http://www.capoferri.com/savannah_4.htm Fire Fox 9, Chrome 16 and Safari 5 are OK.

Show Case - Display is 1/2 of image on right side of container, left side is "white" and includes the nav boxes.
