Most of the menu systems that you will experience make use the JavaScript language. Why we choose Flash over Javascript? Read below:
When starting 123 JavaScript Slideshow, it reports “EOleSysError class not registered”.
To fix this problem, please launch Command Prompt, and enter the following command.
regsvr32 msscript.ocx
Click the publish button on
the toolbar to publish the slideshow. In the publish dialog, click the browse button
to specify an output folder, which includes several folders with prefix _ds_ and one HTML sample file.
After publish, you can click the Browse Output Folder button to check the output files.
Please note, all of the output files and folders should be placed in the same folder when uploading to the web server.
Click Show HTML Code button of the Publish dialog to view the HTML code.
Click the first Copy Code button to copy the HTML codes for Header and paste them into <head>… </head> section of the target web page.
Then click the second Copy Code button to copy the HTML codes for body and paste them into the <body>…</body> section of the target web page.
Note: You can specify the slideshow position in the design window and then switch to the Code window to insert the HTML codes.
Save the web page and click the preview button
of Dreamweaver to preview the web page.
Note: If you want to update the slideshow, please repeat all the steps above again.
By default, when you opening a local HTML file with Flash menu, IE reports the following security warning message:
This message disappears when all the files uploaded online. So don’t worry about your internet visitors, they will never read this message.
For test purpose, if you don’t want to upload all the files for each modifications, you can turn-off the message by enabling the following item inside the Internet Options dialog.
